Top Things to do in Phoenix During the Waste Management Open

Here’s what to do when you’re not taking in The Greatest Show on Grass.

The top things to do in Phoenix include taking a spa day or conquering a challenging hike, for those who want a bit more adventure.Heading to Phoenix for the 2022 Waste Management Open? Well, you’re in luck – it’s consistently ranked as one of the top sunny cities in the United States. With an average of 300 sunny days per year, Phoenix is the perfect place to visit — particularly in the middle of a dreary winter.

Besides watching the pros hit the links, here are a few terrific activities to include in your visit.

Relax and unwind

Nothing says relaxation quite like a day at the spa, and the greater Phoenix area is home to many world-class spas. A few of the more notable places to find your zen include the Alvadora Spa at the Royal Palms Resort & SpaAgave at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, and Aji Spa at Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass.

Whether it’s a facial, a massage, or a full-body exfoliating scrub, many of the spas in Phoenix draw from healing elements found in the surrounding Sonoran Desert and honor ancient Native American healing and wellness practices.

Play a round

Just because you’re in Phoenix to watch the pros doesn’t mean you can’t also fine-tune your own golf swing. The sunny climate and desert terrain make for picturesque and unforgettable golf experiences. While it would be difficult to book your own tee time at TPC Scottsdale, there are plenty of other premier golf courses in the area.

The Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale features two courses, the Monument and the Pinnacle, which are beautifully set along the slopes of Pinnacle Peak. About 45 minutes northwest of Phoenix, surrounded by the Hieroglyphic Mountains, is the Quintero Golf Club in Peoria. Its location in the mountains provides an idyllic combination of desert and mountain golf, according to Golf Digest.

Take a hike

Whether you’re an experienced or a novice hiker, Phoenix has some of the best hiking in the country. The Blevins Trail in Usery Mountain Regional Park is a relatively easy three-mile loop that provides an ideal introduction to the Sonoran Desert scenery. Likewise, the nearly two-mile Waterfall Trail in White Tank Mountain Regional Park provides a wide path and rocky outcroppings.

If you have a bit more hiking experience under your belt, you might want to try the Echo Canyon Trail on Camelback Mountain. The summit of Camelback Mountain is one of the highest peaks in Phoenix so, while it’s a truly challenging climb that’s best left to hiking pros, a fantastic view awaits you at the top!

Visit a museum

The rich history and culture of American Indians can be seen and felt throughout Arizona. Take an afternoon to learn more at the Heard Museum, which is dedicated “to the presentation, interpretation and advancement of American Indian art, emphasizing its intersection with broader artistic and cultural themes.” The Phoenix Art Museum features a wide array of different artists, including classic and contemporary works.

If you’re an architecture buff, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is a must-visit site. There is no more famous American architect than Frank Lloyd Wright and Taliesin West, in Scottsdale, was Wright’s winter home and “desert laboratory.” It was established in 1937 and, in addition to being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s also considered one of Wright’s most personal creations.

There’s so much to explore in Phoenix, and round out your trip to the Waste Management Open into a truly unforgettable time.

If you’d like to get in on the fun, we have a limited number of packages remaining for the 2022 Waste Management Open. If you’re interested in reserving one, contact us today at 608.665.9070 or send us a message to learn more.

The best activities to include while traveling for work are the ones that will help your team relax and get to know each other better.

6 Activities to Include While Traveling for Work

Make your next corporate retreat memorable with these activities.

The best activities to include while traveling for work are the ones that will help your team relax and get to know each other better.A corporate retreat is a fantastic way to assemble your team in one location for collaboration and camaraderie. Once the official business is done, it’s a great idea to plan some fun off-hours activities to relax and unwind after a long day of teambuilding.

Some great ideas of activities to include while traveling for work are:

  1. Wine, beer, and spirits tastings
  2. Enjoy the great outdoors
  3. City tours
  4. Sporting events
  5. Trivia night
  6. Tailored activities

Keep reading to learn how to incorporate these activities into your next corporate retreat or trip!

Wine, beer, and spirits tastings

There are few activities more relaxing than a well-deserved beverage after a day of work. Here’s a great opportunity to elevate the experience with a wine, beer, or spirit (or all three!) tasting or tour. Your employees can relax and unwind while enjoying some top-shelf liquors and learn a little something about the fermenting process.

Enjoy the great outdoors

Let’s face it — a conference room is no match for the fresh air of the great outdoors. Have your employees burn off some energy with a round of golf, a hike or, for the more adventurous, ziplining or mountain biking. If you’re looking to improve teamwork in your organization, challenge your employees to a friendly race or competition. Winners get next Friday off!

City tours

Take some time to explore the city you’re visiting and organize a tour — bonus points if you can do the tour by bike or on a boat. Even if your retreat is in your home city, a guided tour is a great way to learn more about your hometown.

Sporting events

See some professional-level teamwork in action and take in a sporting event. Whether it’s a baseball, hockey, basketball, or baseball game, we can all learn something from the pros. Even if not everyone is a sports fan, everyone certainly loves stadium snack food!

If this sounds like it’d be a hit with your team, check out our lineup of sporting event travel packages perfect for large corporate groups!

Trivia night

Many bars and restaurants host trivia nights — see if there are any in the city you’re visiting. Or, better yet, set up a private trivia night for your employees and inspire a little friendly competition between the teams.

Tailored activities

No one knows your company and your employees quite like you do, so plan a few activities specially tailored to their interests. Schedule a reservation at a high-end restaurant for the foodies in your group, or organize a yoga class for the yogis. Your employees will surely appreciate your willingness to set up activities you know they’ll enjoy!

Superior Executive Services excels in the details, and we would be glad to help plan some unforgettable activities and outings for your corporate retreat. Contact us today at 608.665.9070 or send us a message through our website to get started!

5 Travel Resolutions to Make in 2022

Create the best year of travel you can with these tips.

Make 2022 great with travel resolutions like traveling solo, or setting a number of trips that you want to take by the end of the year.

A new year is a fresh start and a clean slate. It’s also a terrific time to commit to something new. So whether you’re a seasoned traveler or you’re vowing to make travel a priority in the coming year, here are some tips to help you discover new places and new experiences in 2022!

  1. Commit to travel
  2. Travel solo
  3. Save up for travel
  4. Learn a new skill
  5. Use your vacation days

Let’s dive into these travel resolutions for the New Year!

Commit to travel

Just deciding to travel in 2022 is a great place to start for your resolutions. It’s been a long two years where travel hasn’t been as straightforward or easy as it was pre-COVID. As the world slowly returns back to normal, airlines and hotels are eager to welcome travelers back. Committing to taking a certain number of trips or visiting a new place (or a few new places!) is a great way to fall back in love with travel.

Travel solo

Taking a trip by yourself can be such a relaxing, rejuvenating experience. When traveling with others, we’re often constrained by activities to please the group, dietary restrictions, and sleep schedules for children but, when you’re answering only to yourself, you’re in the driver’s seat for the entire trip. Last-minute deep tissue massage at the spa? No problem. A long, quiet run in nature? Absolutely. Cocktails with lunch? Why not?!

According to a survey conducted by travel website Klook, solo travel was the #1 travel trend in 2019, and over a quarter of respondents cited being alone and discovering at their own pace as reasons for traveling alone. Traveling alone can seem daunting, but with a bit of planning, you can create a truly unique travel experience that you’re sure to love!

Save up for travel

One of the top reasons people often cite for not traveling is that it’s expensive — if you only stay in five-star hotels and fly first-class, then of course! But there are many ways to save money while traveling to make any trip fit your budget. According to Airfare Watchdog, Tuesday and Wednesday are typically when airfare tends to be lowest. Use credit cards that reward your purchases in travel miles you can redeem for trips. With your newfound savings, you might even consider splurging on a trip to the Super Bowlthe Indy 500, or the Kentucky Derby!

Learn a new skill

Use vacation as an opportunity to test out a new skill you’ve always wanted to try. Try your hand at skiing, golfing, or, if you’re visiting a particularly picturesque locale, photography. Develop your palate with a trip centered on fine food and beverage — Superior Executive Services has a few fantastic food and wine festival travel packages to help you reach that goal!

Use your vacation days

You work hard, and you deserve to take time off. It seems like a no-brainer, but a staggering 768 million vacation days went unused by American workers in 2018, according to the U.S. Travel Association. You earned your vacation days, so use them, explore the world, and create meaningful memories!

Let Superior Executive Services help craft amazing and unique trips for you in 2022. Give us a call at 608.665.9070 or contact us online to start planning your next great adventure!

The only thing more fun than these facts are our Super Bowl ticket packages.

5 Surprising Super Bowl Facts

Learn more about the big game in this blog post

The only thing more fun than these facts are our Super Bowl ticket packages.

Super Bowl LVI is right around the corner — whether you’re a die-hard gridiron fan or just watching for the tasty snacks and the halftime show, there’s a lot to be excited about. Here are a few fun facts about football’s biggest game of the year.

Why Roman Numerals?

Why is the number of the Super Bowl always expressed in Roman numerals? In 1966, the National Football League and the American Football League agreed to merge the two leagues for the following season. Since both leagues’ regular season play occurred mainly in the fall and this new game would be played the following year, organizers decided to assign each championship game (aka the Superbowl) a number.

As for how Roman numerals were introduced, Kansas City Chiefs founder, Lamar Hunt, suggested using them to add “pomp and gravitas to the game.” As a result, super Bowl V in 1971 was the first to use Roman numerals and the tradition continues today.

Commercial Success

The Super Bowl has become the most-watched American sporting event each year. With an average of around 100 million viewers, it’s prime time for companies and brands to showcase their most creative and bold advertisements.

During the first-ever Super Bowl in 1967, a 30-second spot cost around $40,000 — compared to 2019, that same ad spot cost advertisers over $5 million. From Pepsi’s 1992 ad featuring supermodel Cindy Crawford to Snickers’ 2010 “You’re Not You When You’re Hungry” spot featuring Betty White, the Super Bowl is a massive platform for both new and established brands to reach consumers.

Super Bowl of Chips

The Super Bowl is the second-largest food consumption day in America — the first being Thanksgiving. Some 8 million pounds of guacamole, 14,500 tons of chips, and 50 million cases of beer are consumed on Super Bowl Sunday.

In 2020, the National Chicken Council projected that Americans would eat a record-breaking 1.4 billion chicken wings over Super Bowl weekend. Not surprisingly, in 2019, over 17 million employees called in sick the day after the Super Bowl, leading to petitions advocating that the Monday after the Super Bowl be a national holiday.

Plenty of Pigskin

Over 700,000 footballs are produced each year for NFL use, and over 100 footballs can be used during the Super Bowl. Each of those balls is inspected for air pressure and proper protocols two hours and fifteen minutes before each game. Every football used at the Super Bowl in 2021 was manufactured at the same Wilson Sporting Goods Factory in Ada, Ohio.

“I’m Going to Disney World!”

This famous tagline was first uttered by New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms after the big game in 1987.  Disney paid both Simms and the Denver Broncos quarterback, John Elway, $75,000 to say the now-famous slogan. This way, no matter which team won, Disney would have their viral moment with the winning quarterback.

Trips to Book with Friends in 2022

Plan your getaway with our recommendations for the best travel destinations with friends

The best travel destinations with friends include the Super Bowl and Lollapalooza.

“In life, it’s not where you go – it’s who you travel with.” -Charles M. Schulz

Between the pandemic and family obligations and everything in between, it’s likely been far too long since you spent some quality time with friends — especially if those friends live in a different city or state. Travel is safer than ever now, so let’s look at some of the best travel destinations with friends to visit in the coming year.

Sports

There’s nothing that can quite describe the magic of live sports, and after a long hiatus, people are excited to cheer on their teams live in person! The 2022 Super Bowl in sunny Los Angeles is as much about football as it is the spectacle and the undoubtedly amazing half-time performance. The 2022 show will feature hip hop legends Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dog.

After a long month of competitive games, upsets, and bracket busters, come watch the action unfold at the 2022 NCAA Final Four in New Orleans. With the Big Easy as your backdrop, enjoy the rowdy fun on Bourbon Street and the world-famous Cafe du Monde beignets.

The Kentucky Derby is a sporting event unlike any other, and there’s no better way to enjoy it than with friends. Don your most dapper seersucker suit or find a fancy fastener and place a few bets, if you’re feeling lucky!

Music

Music has the power to evoke memories and bring us back to our youth! Reconnect with friends and relive the old days at a music festival. The 2022 Stagecoach Festival, California’s biggest country music festival, will feature artists like Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs, and Maren Morris. Likewise, the 2022 CMA Festival in Nashville is a country music fan’s dream right in the heart of Music City.

Fly down to the southernmost point in the continental United States and enjoy some country tunes at the 2022 Key West Songwriters Festival — past festivals have included country music heavyweights like Brad Paisley, Florida Georgia Line, and Walker Hayes. After a long day of concert-going, kick your feet up on the beautiful beaches with a slice of key lime pie and a well-deserved pina colada.

If you consider yourself a little more pop or rock ‘n’ roll than country, you and your crew will want to head to the 2022 Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago. Originally a touring music festival, Lollapalooza now calls Chicago’s Grant Park home for four days each summer. The 2021 show featured Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, and the Foo Fighters, and the 2022 performers will be announced in the coming months.

Food

Looking for something a little more low-key than a big sporting or music event? No problem, we’ve got you covered! Bring your best friends and, of course, your appetite to the 2022 Catalina Wine Mixer on Catalina Island or the 2022 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen (or both!). Nothing goes together like great friends, great food, and great wine.

It’s been too long since you’ve gotten away with friends; let Superior Executive Services help you plan an unforgettable trip in 2022! Contact us today at (608) 665-9070 or through our website to start planning your one-of-a-kind travel experience.

Our Favorite Travel Experiences of 2021

We’re looking back on our top trips of the past year

In 2021 we designed personalized luxury travel experiences to the Kentucky Derby, US Grand Prix, and the Food and Wine Classic in Aspen.

We’re fortunate enough to plan and execute some amazing experiential trips for our clients, and while they’re all unique, we certainly do have our favorites. Here’s a roundup of our favorite travel experiences from the past year.

Kentucky Derby

You don’t have to love horse racing to be genuinely wowed by the spectacle and pageantry of the Kentucky Derby. The Derby has something for everyone, from the fashion and the celebrities to the mint juleps and, of course, the race itself.

Enjoying the Derby in style on Millionaires Row is an experience unlike any other. Even with the reduced capacity, over 50,000 attendees were lucky enough to take in the rich history of Churchill Downs and witness Medina Spirit take home the top prize in 2021.

Ryder Cup

Golf royalty descended on beautiful Sheboygan, Wisconsin in September for the 2021 Ryder Cup at the world-famous Whistling Straits Golf Course. The Ryder Cup is a biennial golf tournament held between American and European teams.

Postponed due to the pandemic in 2020, this event was a golf lover’s dream, and it was our honor to help plan the VIP experience of a lifetime for our clients. Having the American team, led by Steve Stricker, win was just icing on the cake! If you missed the Ryder Cup, we still have packages available for the 2022 Masters and 2022 PGA Championship

Grand Prix

The only place where you actually want to smell burning rubber is from the stands of a professional motor speedway. In 2021 we helped get our clients closer to the action than ever before and provided superior service at every step along the way. We’re upping the ante for the 2022 Grand Prix package and including a guided Paddock Club Pit Lane walk at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas to see the cars up close and meet the owners.

Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam

We were thrilled to finally put on our cowboy boots to jam out with country’s biggest acts all in one place at the Pepsi Gulf Jam in June 2021. From Brad Paisley to Rodney Atkins to Luke Bryan, we got to kick off summer with some of our favorite performers. The 2022 Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam lineup was recently announced, and it’s already got us excited for next year!

Food & Wine Classic

Good food is something everyone can get behind, and “good food” doesn’t even begin to describe the culinary experience of attending the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. For the 2022 Food & Wine Classic, we’re once again excited to offer packages that include access to the Grand Tasting Pavilion, unique cooking demonstrations and wine tastings, as well as luxurious accommodations.

As you can see, we had a lot of fun in 2021 and can’t wait to get started planning even bigger and better events for 2022. Let the experts at Superior Executive Services help deliver you unforgettable adventures and create amazing memories. Contact us today at (608) 665-9070 or send us a message online.

Our tips for dining out while traveling include making reservations as far in advance as possible.

6 Tips for Dining Out While Traveling

Make the most of your meals while on vacation.

Our tips for dining out while traveling include making reservations as far in advance as possible.

By far, one of the best parts of any vacation is trying new restaurants, but it’s essential to be prepared and think ahead. Here are some helpful tips from our team for dining out while traveling:

  1. Early bird gets the table
  2. Get prepared with apps
  3. Be on time
  4. Patience is a virtue
  5. Keep the kids entertained
  6. Trust the pros

Keep reading to learn more about these tips for dining out while traveling. Bon appetit!

Early bird gets the table

Make reservations well in advance of your trip; this is a good idea whether you’re traveling in a large group or just with another person. Reservations will be trickier to get if you’re traveling to a popular location during its “high season” or big event, or if it’s a particularly famous or trendy restaurant. We recommend keeping track of your reservation confirmation email if you book online or calling the restaurant a few days before your reservation to double confirm the date and time before you arrive.

Get prepared with apps

No, not appetizers on your plate, apps on your phone!  Yelp was one of the first crowd-sourced review websites, and it remains one of the most widely used for restaurants and businesses alike. Likewise, the Zagat guide has been on the restaurant review scene for years and has built a stellar reputation for its thoughtful content and carefully honed rating system.

Are you more of a visual eater?  Foodspotting is the app for you — users post pictures of their delicious dishes on the app for others to see. You’re just a few clicks away from enjoying that scrumptious-looking eggplant parmesan in person.

Take it from the professionals — ChefsFeed is where restaurant chefs provide restaurant and even dish recommendations. The app also includes well-produced videos featuring unique dishes sure to whet your appetite.

Be on time

This is true in all aspects of life! When we’re on vacation, whether we’re running from one activity to the next — or we’ve spent the whole day relaxing — it’s easy to lose track of time. Restaurants certainly understand a five or ten-minute delay, but if you’re running more than a few minutes late, be sure to call the restaurant and let them know. It’s a courteous gesture, and the restaurant will certainly appreciate the notice if they need to move you to a different table or shift some things around.

Patience is a virtue

Like punctuality, this is an excellent tip to apply in all areas of our lives, but particularly while dining out in this age of COVID. Restaurants are dealing with unprecedented labor shortages, which means longer wait times for tables and service. Keep in mind restaurants are doing all they can in these tough times, so order an extra cocktail, enjoy the company of your dining mates, and maybe even consider tipping a little extra.

Keep the kids entertained

This one is for the parents, grandparents, and anyone traveling with kids — bring the iPad, coloring books and crayons, and any quiet, restaurant-appropriate games. Also, be realistic about both your kids’ ages and temperaments and the restaurant’s environment. If your kids are a little older and have experience dining out, they’ll do great at a Michelin-star restaurant, but it’s maybe not the best idea to bring a toddler and a three-month-old to an eight o’clock dinner with six courses.

Trust the pros

If you need a little extra help choosing a restaurant to dine at while traveling, let the team at Superior Executive Services help! When you book one of our luxury travel packages, we can secure restaurant reservations at high-end restaurants for you, even during popular events or busy seasons.

For all of your travel and dining needs, we’re excited to help you plan your perfect trip! Contact us today at (608) 665-9070, or send us a message to get started creating your next luxury travel experience!

Sure, gift cards and fruit baskets are nice, but a luxury trip uniquely tailored to their interests shows that you’re thinking of them.

  1. The Masters
  2. CMA & Stagecoach Festivals
  3. Food & Wine Festivals
  4. Cannes Film Festival

The Masters – Watch the Pros Hit the Links

An avid golfer can claim bragging rights for years to come after attending the renowned Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. Held each spring at the exclusive Augusta Country Club, the Masters serves as a gathering place for not only the world’s top golfers but is also a hub for sports stars, politicians, and celebrities of all kinds.

With a Masters ticket package from Superior, you can enjoy access to the exclusive Club Magnolia, accommodations in a private, upscale home, and so much more.

CMA & Stagecoach Festivals – Honky Tonk in Style

It should come as no surprise that the Country Music Association’s CMA Fest is a country music lover’s dream. Held in Nashville — aka Music City— CMA Fest is four days of country music’s biggest stars. Canceled because of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, CMA Fest 2022 is slated to be its biggest to date. While the final lineup has yet to be released, headliners such as Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, and Miranda Lambert are expected to return.

The Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, is a newer country music festival worth noting. The first festival was held in 2007 and is considered the country music “cousin” to the famous Coachella Music Festival.

When you give the gift of a country music travel package from Superior, the recipient can experience these festivals in style with VIP hospitality, five-star accommodations, private transportation, and more.

Food & Wine Festivals – Time to Wine Down

For the food and wine aficionado, there’s no better opportunity to sample the finest foods prepared by the industry’s top chefs than the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. From the first “salud!” to the final “bon appetit,” it’s a magical experience in a setting that is equally as magical. Past events have included seminars on wine and potato chip pairing and understanding the aroma of wine with tastemakers like Top Chef’s Carla Hall, Food Network star Guy Fieri, and wine expert Mark Oldman.

If laid-back California is more your speed, the iconic Catalina Wine Mixer will not disappoint. This event includes wine tastings from vineyards along the West Coast, music, and of course, a Step Brothers screening.

When you gift one of these travel packages, the recipient (and you, if you come along!) will experience VIP event access, luxury accommodations, and customized side excursions to make your stay one-of-a-kind.

Cannes Film Festival – Cannes You Believe It?

Think the Cannes Film Festival is just for the stars and their entourages? Think again! For film buffs who enjoy the finer things in life, viewing the year’s best films (months before they’re released here in the U.S.) amongst Hollywood’s glitterati is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Superior’s Cannes packages include exclusive event access, five-star hospitality, private transportation, and more to make your time in Cannes unforgettable.

A Triple Crown Race – Be a VIP for the Mane Event

Don your finest seersucker suit or floral fascinator, grab yourself a mint julep, and make yourself right at home on Millionaires Row at the Kentucky Derby. Even if you’re not a fan of horse racing, the spectacle of the event at the historic Churchill Downs is an experience anyone can enjoy. Make it a triple crown and attend the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes too!

With VIP event access, unmatched views of the races, and luxury hospitality, a horse racing travel package from Superior will be a gift the recipient will never forget!

Ski trips make some of the best winter getaways for people looking to add some excitement to the season.

Best Winter Getaways To Book Now

Try our picks for the best seasonal escapes!

Ski trips make some of the best winter getaways for people looking to add some excitement to the season.

There’s a chill in the air, which means that winter is just on the horizon! Travel is back and better (and safer!) than ever, making this a great time to book a winter break trip or family vacation.

Whether you’re looking to hit the slopes, relax with a pina colada on the beach, or somewhere in between, the possibilities are endless with this list of the best winter getaways.

Skiing in a Winter Wonderland

Do you prefer to stick to bunny hills, or are you more of a double black diamond aficionado? No matter your skill level, skiing is a natural choice when it comes to winter getaways.

The state of Colorado is synonymous with skiing. Breckenridge, about 90 minutes southwest of Denver, is widely considered to have some of the best downhill skiing in the U.S., as well as ample opportunities for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Aspen has long been a premier ski destination for the well-heeled looking for top-notch ski conditions and high-end restaurants and shopping.

Other notable ski destinations in the U.S. include Park City, Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, and Big Sky.

If you’re looking to really get into the winter spirit and go big for the holidays, the charming city of Lucerne, Switzerland, is straight out of a Christmas snow globe. Just a 40-minute drive from Zurich and nestled in the Swiss Alps, Lucerne is steeped in history and culture.

Wherever you decide to hit the slopes this winter, be sure to look for a resort that offers a world-class spa and other amenities to keep you relaxed and toasty warm by the fire with an apres-ski beverage.

Be a Beach Bum

There are few things more relaxing than sitting on the beach with a book and a cold beverage. As long as there’s sun and sand, you’re sure to have a great trip!

Venture down under for a truly once-in-a-lifetime trip to Australia’s pristine, world-class beaches. Of course, there’s the iconic Bondi Beach in Sydney, but there are other gems down in Aussie land that are not to be missed. On the western coast, Cape Le Grand National Park is a sight to see with several distinct beaches and bays along the rugged and picturesque coast. Whitehaven Beach on the secluded Whitsunday Island is arguably the most beautiful beach in the world with its buttery soft whitesand and crystal clear waters; its location along the Great Barrier Reef make it an excellent area for scuba diving and snorkeling.

Not interested in the 20+ hour travel time to go halfway around the world? Not a problem; the U.S. is home to some world-class beaches of its own. Florida boasts nearly 1,400 miles of coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. Destin, about an hour east of Pensacola, and Clearwater Beach, just north of Tampa/St. Pete, stand out as top-notch beach destinations for families (ranked #1 and #3 among all Florida beaches). If nightlife and possible celebrity sightings are more your speed, Miami Beach cannot be beaten.

California is uniquely positioned to be both a ski destination and a beach destination — if you time your vacation correctly, you don’t have to choose between the two! Spend a few days in Lake Tahoe, hop on a one-hour flight to Los Angeles, and rest your overworked muscles in Malibu.

Catch the Big Game

If you aren’t up for activities like skiing and surfing this winter, leave the work to the pros! With our Super Bowl travel packages, you can experience professional football’s biggest game with VIP seating, luxury accommodations, private transportation, and more to make your time in Inglewood, CA, unforgettable. Plus, if you have any music fans in your group, they’ll love watching the halftime show up close and in person!

Benefits of Corporate Travel

Get out of the office and enjoy these great travel benefits.

Once viewed as somewhat of a nuisance, after many long months at home, the thought of business travel sounds very appealing to employers and employees alike. We’ve all been working long hours from home, and as we’re starting to see some return to normalcy, employees are looking to reconnect with both colleagues and clients.

While employees have proven that they are just as productive working from home as from the office, there’s simply no substitute for face-to-face human connection that doesn’t require an Internet connection.

Benefits of Company Retreats

Employees at many companies now work entirely remotely or have embraced a hybrid work model. This is excellent news for flexibility and reducing health risks in the office; it’s not such great news for connectivity and smooth, seamless communication.

Providing employees the opportunity to reconnect altogether all in the same place for a few days can be hugely beneficial in terms of boosting team morale and allowing teams to feel more connected. Away from the stress of the office (or, more accurately, the home office), employees can slow down and enjoy the company of their teammates without home or office distractions and interruptions. Even if the retreat is just a few days, that feeling of togetherness and camaraderie lasts well after everyone returns home.

Hosting a company retreat shows employees that the company truly cares about their career development and job satisfaction. It’s easy for employees at every level to get caught up on the hamster wheel of daily life, to be able to take a deep breath, pause, and reflect on their role, the organization’s mission, what’s working and what isn’t.

Depending on how large your company is, your administrative assistant may have never met the marketing manager. A company retreat provides a less formal space and a new location for all employees to get to know one another outside of the office.

Benefits of Industry Events

Trade associations and other conference hosts finally feel comfortable hosting in-person conferences and expos once again. Similar to in-person company retreats, conferences are a terrific opportunity for employees to meet peers in their industry. They can learn more about their roles within other organizations, swap best practices, and generally make valuable connections. These connections can help energize employees and get out of the feedback loop that can sometimes characterize our day-to-day lives in the office.

Perhaps you’re considering hosting a widely attended industry event or sponsoring an event during a larger conference? This can be a fantastic way to build your brand recognition, create a positive association with your organization, and draw in new customers.

Relax and Recharge

Relaxation was not a word associated with business travel a few years ago. Corporate travel in 2022, however, can provide employees with the space to relax and return to work feeling recharged and reconnected with their colleagues as well as their professional purpose.
