Climb up to the widow’s walk (Eagles Nest-Almost Heaven) during daylight to take in the breath-taking 360 degree views of the surrounding area, including the river and her many birds fishing or hunting for prey (including the wood duck, mallard, heron, egret cormorant, hawk, owl, and our favorite – the anhinga). You might even spot the occasional alligator or an osprey. The Eagles Nest is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while taking in the colorful sunsets!
