Superior Executive Services’ Fall 2023 F1 Events Preview

Brush up on everything you need to know ahead of our fall F1 travel experiences.

As summer draws to a close, Formula 1 racing is heating up just in time for the fall! In October, Austin will host the U.S. Austin Grand Prix, and Las Vegas will host the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November.

The excitement and energy of F1 racing is something you have to experience to understand. Here is some of the must-know information before attending one of our F1 events this fall.

What to expect

Whether it’s your first or your tenth F1 racing event, you can expect a one-of-a-kind experience with outstanding hospitality from start to finish. Our seasoned Superior Executive Services staff are able to arrange entry to pre-race events and pit lane walks so you can see the action up close. We also offer an option to upgrade to a full-day pass that allows post-race views of the podium ceremony.

What to pack

Both Austin and Las Vegas are likely to be pretty warm well into fall, so you’ll want to pack clothing that breathes well (e.g., cotton or linen fabrics). While there is no official dress code at F1 events, it’s best described as “smart casual,” meaning long slacks and collared shirts for men and a casual dress or pants and a blouse for women.

F1 races are indeed prestigious sporting events, so we don’t recommend tank tops, jeans or shorts. After all, you don’t want to get a “black flag” before the race even begins. You’ll also want to bring sunscreen, a portable phone charger, comfortable shoes and a light rain jacket or poncho just in case of rain.

What to do

Austin and Las Vegas are two of the most exciting cities to visit in the U.S., and when you add in F1 racing, it just makes them that much better. While Las Vegas has long been a destination for gambling and glamor, Austin has benefited from tremendous growth recently, gaining nearly 1 million new residents in the last 10 years alone.

In Sin City, you can take in a show (U2, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban will all have residency concerts during the Las Vegas Grand Prix) and hit the slots. You can “Keep Austin Weird” by visiting the natural Barton Springs Pool, checking out the unique shops on South Congress and, of course, eating some of the best BBQ in Texas.
