Attend the Final Four Friday practice sessions
On the Friday before the Final Four games, the teams will have open practices at NRG Stadium. This is a great opportunity to see all of the teams in action and get an up-close look at the players. Admission to the practice sessions is free and open to the public.
Attend the March Madness Music Festival
If you’re looking for music-inspired fun things to do in Houston, check out the March Madness Music Festival! This free music festival takes place during the tournament at Discovery Green, a park in downtown Houston, and is open to the public. This year, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Nas X, Keith Urban, and Tim McGraw will be performing; the festival has featured artists like Maroon 5, Kendrick Lamar, and Imagine Dragons in past years.
Visit the Space Center Houston
If you need a brief break from basketball, check out Space Center Houston! This attraction is the official visitor center for NASA’s Johnson Space Center, and it’s a great place to learn about space exploration. You can see historic spacecraft and artifacts up close and personal, check out a gallery of real spacesuits, take a tram tour of the Johnson Space Center, and even touch a moon rock!
Check out the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
