Florida
Sunny Florida is home to roughly 1,250 golf courses — more than any other state. From Jacksonville to Miami, and everywhere in between, there’s a course for every golfer.
Tournament Players Club (TPC) Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach is consistently ranked among the top 100 best golf courses in the country and was purchased by then-PGA Commissioner Deane Beman for just $1 in 1979. In fact, the check hangs in TPC Sawgrass’ clubhouse.
